Yes, it does. However, as a B-Production race car starting in 1967, they are considered "period" and hence allowed in the class, which does not separate the street cars - restored to showroom original condition - from the comp cars, which are inevitably modified. It makes the job of the judges that much more difficult.

We're shortened aluminum suspension uprights available during the 60s, or even the 90s for that matter?

Nedsel 03-21-2012 10:04 PM

Don't think so.

Please bring one for me, too. It will be very helpful.

Might be a repeat, but thought it was worth mentioning in case someone missed it.....

" Automotive fine artist Bill Neale was honored with the Mazda "Emotion of Motion" award for his painting Cobra #95 during the 2012 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. Neale, a longstanding member of the Automotive Fine Arts Society (AFAS), debuted this acrylic-on-canvas work during the AFAS's 17th-annual art show, which celebrates the beauty and design of the automobile. Great thread, exactly what i needed to id my photos from Amelia. What a phenomenal event. The Cobra vs Ferrari area was wonderful.

I got a couple nice shots in the staging area. I love shooting there, you just never know what is going to line up with what.

The Red one is Henry Davis' P1040; the Blue one is the late Larry Miller's P1015.
