Illinois registration appears done
I think it's finally over. Last Saturday I trailered the car over to the Villa Park Secretary of States police facility. They looked over the car, had me mount the Shell Valley vin tags on the frame and body, then said I was all done and my plates and paper work would be sent to me soon.
2012 should be a great cruising year, expensive gas, but thats the price we pay for some fun. My next step is to find a good and knowledgeable shop for chassis set up in the west suburbs of Chicago. Ford 9", 4-link coil over back a-arm coil over front aluminum big block need 4 wheel alignment and possibly scaling. |
Check out AMS in West Chicago. They are a race shop that specializes in Japanese stuff but would probably set up your chassis. They build some hairy WRX and Mitsubishis. North ave. west almost to Pheasant Run right on Powis go about a mile. Cross railroad tracks and they are on right.
