Gurney - Westlake heads
Hi all. A friend just got scammed by a buyer in LA who bought my friends Gurney-Westlake heads paying with a Cashiers check. My friends bank accepted the cashiers check and about two weeks later declared the check a forgery. My friend has reported it to the LA police but all the info results in a dead end: stolen name, real but stolen address, etc etc.
If anyone stumble across a deal too good to be true, well, I hope they'll do the right thing. My friend says there are identifying marks on the heads that will prove they're his. Thanks Greg |
