QA1 coil overs orientation question ?
My front coil overs are pointing one way and the rear ones are pointing the other way. I got the rolling chassis delivered like that when I bought my kit, does it matter ?
The guy who build those kits gave me an explanation but I forgot what it was about, anybody know the science behind that, thanks %/ |
What do you mean by "pointing"?
|
Could it be he was talking about reducing the unsprung weight on the front ?
|
do you mean the adjuster orientation? i have QA1's on the front of mine...
i have the adjuster knob pointing toward the front for easy access.... i can't see how the shock could know which way it is pointing..... if i had installed them in the rear, i think i would have pointed the adjuster toward the rear..... Fred |
Fred you nailed it !
Thanks Fred, you got it buddy. He did that to reduce the unsprung weight.
