There is quite a bit of variance from engine design/build specs. When my 482 is first started, the pressure at 1000 rpm is around 80psi. After the engine oil is hot (80-100 degrees C) my idle pressure is 35psi and at 2000 rpm around 60psi. When redlined, back to 80psi. Hope that helps. BTW, I use Amsoil 20w50 full synthetic.
