Axle Caps (Hole Diameter)

Can somebody give me the hole diameter on original ID of front and rear axles (the cap OD. Is the front and rear the same?

If you have our 6-pin setup, the front and rear caps are the same. On the early cars, the (retaining) O-rings might be different from front to rear.

You realize that we've got the plugs?

Sorry. My fame is only exceeded by my assumptive power. "We" is the ERA factory.

Bob:

I have an old set of the inserts (GT40) style that used Center Line wheels. The threaded part of the center adaptor is solid. I would like to drill it open, thus the question, what is the ID. :p:p:p

Spec for the hub ID is 1.821".

mickmate 03-23-2012 07:01 PM

That's a dimension, a spec includes a tolerance ;-)
