Looking for a Hayward wiring diagram

Does anyone have or know where to find a wiring diagram for the cobra from Hayward?

This cobra build uses a Hayward wiring harness. We are having a problem with brake lights and found a short to ground. However now the front parking lights come on with the brake lights.

This particular wiring harness uses 4 relays for to control what appears to be the hazard lights. One relay for each light (front right, front left, rear right, rear left). Between the rear light relays and the front light relays appeared to be a diode that got melted.

A wiring diagram would help us understand if that was a diode or fusable link.

Does the Painless wiring harness also use a bank of 4 relays? If so, maybe a painless wiring diagram could be used to help us solve the problem.

Suggestions?

Do you mean Haywire? If so, call Ken and I am sure he'll help you out.

Or if you are coming to the rally in San Marcos this weekend I can bring mine and you can make a copy if it looks like it will work.

Yes Jim, I will be in San Marcos, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If you could bring yours that would be great. This is for Greg's H. car.

This would be great, thanks.

FYI the Haywire wiring harness will likely not tell you what you want to know about that diode or fusible link, I don't think either existed in the harness when new. We can take a look in SM tomorrow (Dusty from Hurricane will be there too) but the only diodes I know of were installed later by the owners to block current flow from feeding back from the front headlight low beam circuit into the high beam circuit. The harness didn't come with them. Gregg, when do you arrive?

I remember installing diodes on the turn signals so the current wouldn't feed all four parking/turn signal lights at one time, but my memory is a bit foggy about the high beams/low beams.
Manual check: Page i28 in the Hurricane instructions says, "wire to each turn signal wire, a 1 amp diode using a butt connectiors or solder. Connect so that the triangle on the diodes will end up pointing towards the lamp". the diodes stop the current from flowing to all four signal lights at one time. Get the diodes t Radio shack.
