I like it.
Seems like a very minor and natural evolution to me.
And I highly doubt CS had anything to do with it.

Beautiful car too refined for my tastes.Love the old school in your face door shake of a big block Cobra aka 60's vintage.

They certainly didn't do anything to shock us.

It's an American 599 at a fraction of the cost.

Viper
Its pretty an nice but it sounds like a supedup 6 cyclinder. It would sound alot better with a Hemi, or BB Ford.;)

The sound of the V10 is one of the issues.

Ya. The v10 sounds terrible in the Vipers. Yet the v10 in a lambo sounds incredible. Not sure why Dodge doesnt make it sound better as its always been a huge complaint.

You don't like the sound of a couple of UPS trucks driving by?

If I recall, the Lambo uses a split journal crankshaft (18 degree?) which allows for even pulse firing while Dodge uses a 5 throw crank which is going to cause uneven pulse firing. Both use 90 degree blocks.
This makes the Lambo/Audi sound very nice while the Dodge sounds like it is on its last legs.

That is it exactly. If they had gone with either the split journal crank, or a 72 degree block, it would have sounded much better. Probably would have increased the redline by a few hundred RPM's also.
