Kirkham Cobra Story

I haven't seen this video posted on here but if it has been then I am not trying to copy the person who posted it first. I just thought that it was interesting and it makes me wish even more that I could afford one of these cars.

Ron

Where do I get some of this "Aluminium"?

Ron61 04-06-2012 05:29 AM

I guess that you have to learn to talk like she does. Then go to Kirkham and order it.

Ron

Great video. Would love to drive the Cobra through some of those canyons!

Ron61 04-06-2012 05:51 AM

;)

That would be great. Think of the sound effect as it bounced off the canyon walls. Also the roads looked to be in pretty good shape and you could really have fun on some of those curves.

Ron

Watched all the Beyond Tommorrow segments remember this one, always enjoy stories about these two seaters thanks Ron.If things had been different when first starting my kit, there just might have been a Kirkham sitting in our shop.

We got aluminium in the UK - we can sell you some....

But I didn't realise that these roadsters have been around "since the 'Thirties"! Good grief, all the history books are wrong!! Just how old is Carroll Shelby really??

maurice19 04-06-2012 12:17 PM

That video made me want to take a ride in #318 Kirkham, to the barbershop, of all places. ha Yesterday was a beautiful day in Sacramento for the ride.

Maurice

ps, I `ve been around since the forties, ha

She obviously has some secrets she'd like to share & I don't need no stinkin' Arulinium. My car is fibroglasium

CoolCarl 04-06-2012 11:58 PM

Maybe she meant roadsters in general. Not just AC roadsters.
