CLUTCH-Help! Santa Cruz!...

Need some help regarding my clutch that went to the floor on this beautiful Santa Cruz Day-where I should be cruising around...I know nothing about clutches so shoot me first...Unique 289 FIA...Centerforce Clutch with Hurst Shifter...does anyone know a good Cobra repair guy over here in Santa Cruz?...does anyone come out to a residence or will I need to tow it?...thanks in advance! Did you notice any fluid on the floor? If you have an external clutch slave, that could be the problem. I'm not sure what the clutch master set-up is on your car, but that's the next thing to look at.

I don't know of any solid/reasonable shops on this side of the hill. There's a Hot Rod shop in downtown soquel that you might want to check out.

Naja289:
I'm in Scotts Valley, and I go to Hidden Automotive. The owner, Richard, used to race GT-40's back in the day. He also owns a vintage Mustang that was a factory mule and was given to him by Henry Ford Jr. He knows his Ford stuff. Hidden Auto is on Mt. Hermon Road on the right as you leave "downtown" Scotts Valley.
House call? Dude, just call for a tow on a flatbed. SC to SV shouldn't be too expensive.

Cheers,
DD

When my clutch did the same thing it turned out that the end cap on the slave cylinder had unscrewed itself. Of course the return spring was gone so I had to get one out of a rebuild kit from Summit Racing. It could be that simple.
