370ci Alum small block on Ebay @ $6500

SMALL BLOCK FORD 370ci ALUMINUM SMALL BLOCK YATES C3 HEADS JESEL LIFTERS | eBay

Looks like it could be the basis of a nice Cobra motor.

Has this block been decked to 8.2 ????!!!!

Zaphod B 05-14-2012 01:23 PM

Excuse my ignorance, but that seems like a hell of a lot of stroke for a 302 block. Am I missing something?

I believe you can special order different deck heights.
I once saw an Alum 385 series BB with a 9.500 deck. It was for a Big Bore, short stoke, high rpm deal.

The description of this block is that it's a Ford Motorsport sleeved aluminum block with 8.2" deck height.

Also this:

"Motorsport Part # on block M-6010-K351 (part number shows 351, but I can assure you it is an 8.200" block)"

Yes, the "standard" stroke for a 347 stroker built on a 302 production or after market block is 3.40!!!!!!!!!!
331 stroker uses a 3.25 stroke on a 302 block.....

Some of the after market 302 blocks will accept up to a 3.5 stroke.......
