Kirkham selling at Mecum Video
What a great event and a wonderful collection of cars that Mecum put together for this auction!!! The amount of nice builds, especially the amount of incredible paint jobs, was really mind boggling and i probably only had time to realistically look at 1/8th of the cars. I highly recommend this particular auction for anybody seeking to attend an event in the future.
I met some really fantastic people at the auction and it was a great reminder of how collector cars and the hobby bring good people together. I'm always impressed with the quality of people that I meet at these auctions...you just don't run into people like this in everyday life very often. No, actually I have a 67 mustang that has been sitting in my trailer for the last year that needs attention first. Maybe someday i will build a 289 Kirkham though. I'd like to build one with a big bore stroker 351W and stack injection. |
