Hi Guys , I sold my 427 Venom back in 2005 . {which is Backdraft now } because nys dint allowed them. Had it on the road for year . DMV caught on. Now NYS allows them. My question is which company making 427's is little larger in interior. leg room, ect. Getting older, little heaver, need a more room. lol

Kenny,
Why not a new Backdraft? I don't understand how you could have had issues with the Venom unless it was not registered and inspected properly?

FYI "Venom" was never Backdraft. It was a separate company that splashed a mold off an early BDR.

10 years ago you had send the paper work to down south, they reg..it then they sell cars paper work back to you. then go nys dmv. Does the back draft still use the BMW rearend set up? And what is rated in max. HP the rearend ?

That was never the legal way to do it, as you discovered... Sounds like a Michael Gates move.

Yes the diffs are still BMW, however many of the other parts around them are new/different since then including aftermarket half shafts. We have cars in the 700hp range.

We can also assist in the proper paperwork and application procedure for NYS. Have sold approx 8 cars to the LI region in the last 12 months.
