Have seen all I need of scorched peeled skin over the years from riding motorcycles, and the very reason why I went undercar exhaust.

Kind of funny of a funny story here; since I've been driving my Cobra I've been paranoid about someone burning their legs on the pipes. As a result of my paranoia, no one has. Then a month ago or so I picked up a used Cayman for the wife. She loves the little thing and uses it as her daily driver. So which car do you think she got burned on? Yup, the frickin' Cayman! She was getting stuff out of the trunk and put her shin up against the hot pipe. Who’d a thunk it!?

I have a scar on my inner forearm! The first time I started the engine, gocart style. I went to adjust something and dropped a wrench. So I layed across the intake (engine was off) and reached down under the car and my arm touched the front header pipe. What was I thinking!?!? I guess I was high on CO.
