Tie rods ends for Backdraft
Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of tie rod ends for a backdraft, Backdraft is out. They are off a 1976 Mazda Pirnasens, an overseas model, or if someone knows the equal model here in the US

Does the Hollander Interchange Manual have anything?
Surely, with the Internet, these can be found. The BDR seems like about three BMW versions as well as a inverted RHD Toyota power steering rack on p/s cars. Does anybody really know what is where on these cars? |
Are your tie rods straight or do they have a dip in them between the stud/boot and the threaded end?
See if Spicer #4011251 looks right or application for 1974 Mazda RX-3. |

This is a straight one for a 1976 Mazda. This may be totally wrong. I hope not. |
I've got 2 brand new ones you could have but I'm a little far away!
I have a PS rack in my BDR number 440 and its out of a PS Part Number TOYOTA COROLLA EE90 88-93 44250-12480 RHD HYDRAULIC If that is of any help. I found out (luckily) on adjusting tow in/out that my tie rod ends were only screwed with its current toe in spec by 4 threads. Safe would be 12. I went to do a steering alignment/toe in check and the rods wound off the ends!!!!!!! Disaster was waiting for me but I found it first! I've since upgraded steerig arm thickness and also gone to adjustable tie rod ends to wind out any bump steer. http://store.bimmerworld.com/gc-adju...rods-p979.aspx Good luck with your search. Hope some of this helps. Spookypt |
