ECM board, blown component?
2 Attachment(s)
Anyone know the best forum to get help on repairing a ECM module (a9l, a3m1). Or maybe someone here can help?
The pictures show the suspect component, looks like a cap or resistor. But, other a9l/a3m1 type pcbs show the yellow component to be much longer and fills the holes that the 4 resistors standing on end are now. ??? Almost looks like it has been cut off and the resistors added in a previous repair. Car problems are strange and intermittent, hoping this is it. Where can I post to get hardware help? Thanks, |
You might be better off just going to NAPA and getting a replacement ECU. Without being able to pin point the offending component on the board you're kind of whistling in the dark and with the ECU being of such an old design I would think you'd be hard pressed to find someone to diagnose a particular element for you.
