I've wondered the same thing....if I had to guess, I think the tires are tires different. If you look at the CSX4000, the tire appears to be a lower profile than a Billboard.

Most of the later Cobras were registered by Shelby first (Customer wish) and the then sold to the buyer. These cars were with street legal, DOT approved tires equipped. Billboards are not DOT approved. |
