Nitto NT01 or NT555R.....reasonably priced and awesome grip. Your car will handle way better too.

Thank you all for very candid and serious answers, I think that this will give anyone plenty of food for thought as to which tires are best suited for their vehicles and the intended use.
I for one, my racing days are over, now I do more cruising and shows than anything else. I agree about the price issue, why wear cheap shoes with an $800 suit? Quality and safety should priority 1.
Thank you so much, I will feed back on my final decision and results.
Sincerely

To me racing or cruising does not make a difference. In fact in some ways cruising is more dangerous than racing. You can be cruising along and all of a sudden someone blows a stop sign and you need to take evasive action. I want a tire that has the same capability as the rest of the car.

Silverback:
You could not be more right a few months ago I was driving from a show and it was alredy dark, this deer jumped out of nowhere in front of my car, good thing I was not going fast and slammed on the brakes the car stopped on a dime, missed hitting the deer:eek:
I still had the Coopers at the time and still do now.
