Which Valve Guide Seals?

I am going to replace the valve guide seals in my 427, Dart block, Roush SRTW engine. However, when I look up valve seals at the local parts stores, there are a multitude of guide and valve stem sizes to choose from. What is the best way to determine which ones will fit my particular heads? Should I just measure the guide and valve stem diameter when I take the valve springs off and then order the seals? Take one of the originals to the parts store? Or is there a standard size I should be considering?

Measure the guide o/d, the valve stem o/d, the valve guide height (protrusion out of the cylinder head), valve retainer to valve seal clearance at full valve lift, and valve spring inner diameter. Go for viton before teflon.
