t-5 question

I have a t-5 that as started poping out of 2nd when I down shift, no problems at all on up shift it is a 94 world class with about 30,000mile on it.

If I understand the shifting mechanism correctly, there are stop adjustments for engagement of each gear. Perhaps the second gear stop limit needs to be adjusted to ensure full engagement....

I am not a T-5 mechanic, this is just stuff I have read regarding the tranny. Others will no doubt be a better source of information. Mine has not had the problem you mention.

Cheers, and good luck!

Pull the box out before you break it.

It has too much endfloat, probably the cluster.

End float, that is a new term for me.
