How is the car currently titled?
Who's stroker engine kit? Mileage on the car? What transmission? What rear end suspension configuration? You mention a 9" rear, are you 100% certain on this? The more detailed information, the more informed response we can give you. Bill S. |
Post this thread over on the FFR forum. Those guys know everything about these cars. ffcars.com

thanks for the reply, ill answer things as best i can...
the car is currently not titled. i have the certificate of origin from factory five but that is it. ill try to find out who's stroker kit it is - i was living in another state while my dad was building the car the odometer reads 2,499 its a five speed manual transmission - i believe the donor car is an 89 fox body see attached pics for rear end suspension configuration and axle sorry best i could do in the garage on a rainy day http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../IMG_03401.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...s/IMG_0339.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../IMG_03382.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../IMG_03371.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...s/IMG_0336.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../IMG_03351.jpg |
Rear suspension should be listed as follows:
8.8" rear end (gearing unknown) 3 Link FFR suspension with Pro Shocks Title wise, you might want to check your dads papers, as putting 2,400 miles on the car without a set of plates is very unlikely unless he had a dealer tag. Bill S. |
If you are really interested in keeping the car but think your size is a problem, there are lots of guys your size that have made modifications to fit into the car. Moving the seat back, tilting the seat, moving the pedals, and a number of other things may make this a fit for you if you're thinking of keeping it.
Check in at ffcars.com to see what is available and any other information you may need about the car. Bob |

It has gotta be rough to lose a parent. I am 59 and still have both my dad and mom.
He has dementia and my mom lives in my town with my sister that won't let her have phone privileges. Still, the fact they are still here is comforting. I am truly sorry for your loss. Russell |
