So then THIS CASE (CIVIL DOCKET FOR CASE #: 2:05-cv-03353-DDP-VBK) was not you?

That is Carroll Hall Shelby v. Stephen Gerard Becker as individuals NOT companies as you so stated

Igofastr 09-28-2012 10:27 AM

Stephen,

As a non-interested party, it looks to me like you are splitting hairs.

cobrakiwi 09-28-2012 10:54 AM

I have no interest in this legal matter, but just want to put a shout out and again thank Mr Becker. He helped my client and I get his CSX 4000 titled without wanting any thing in return, we did not even buy the car from him, I am very grateful for the time he took out of his day to help us.
With that being said I have also received great service from Tony at Shelby.
I hope both parties can work this out and keep up the great customer service that I have recived in the past.

Since you seem to be "spreading the word" on the web, I'm curious what your attachment to this is?

Shelby American has posted a response on the Team Shelby website. See post #15.

SHELBY AUTOMOBILES SUED FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT - Team Shelby

brettco 09-29-2012 07:40 PM

Why would anyone put up with all of Shelbys b.s. over the years when they can get an aluminum car straight from Shelby source without drama and with the best customer service available anywhere? Seriously/the paint??
I think Kirkhams should offer paint then and own the market. Since I shopped for a car in the late 90s it was clearly a risk to order from a certain high end replicas manufacturer.

I bought a car CSX 8050 from Becker and dealt with both him and Shelby American, not taking sides here, I have my car, as it may be, but for someone that is considering making a buy of 100,000 plus may have an interest in current events, ask some of the folks that ordered a 50th Anniversary car in Jan of what? 2011. There is nothing wrong with being informed, I hope you would agree. Best, George

Indeed, being well informed is one thing, posting the same cut and paste all over the web is another. Wouldn't you agree. ;)

For you information I also posted the following all over the web .

At the time of my original post, the only information available was a public press release put out by Becker. Subsequently, Shelby American has posted their position ,not on this site, but in other public forums, which was the proper and correct thing for them to do.I also believe they presented their position very well. Since that time there has also been additional information provided the public which is as follows:

Shelby Sued - Autoweek

Becker Automotive Sues Shelby Automobiles | National Speed Sport News

And for the lawyers out there:

You are correct that before an informed decision can be made not only do you have to have all of the facts and all the pertinent information but in this case we will all have to wait for the ultimate decision of the courts. Best, George

It is probably appropriate at this time to point out the following:

Although it is permitted to post news, such as it has been here, on Club Cobra, we do not permit discussion of the details or anyone's personal involvement in any ongoing litigation.

You may talk around it, but if the discussion migrates to becoming evidentiary to the case, the thread will be closed and archived.

Thanks

Yeah, we've noticed that you have blasted this all over. So precisely what horse do you have in this race?

I bought and sold a Shelby CSX. I bought it because I loved it and sold it because my wife hated it.

But you seem to have a burr under your saddle. Come clean.

Right now you're heading to the top of people I truly hope I never meet. Don't worry, we'll never be friends.

Tip of the hat to you for rethinking that post, Jorge.
