swap bumperettes for quick jacks

Are the bumperettes an easy swap out for quick jacks? Some of the cars I see online have the bumperettes and I really prefer the quick jacks.

TIA

You will have to get new or modify the threaded rods that hole the bumperettes on.
Get new nuts and washers for the assembly.

You will probably have to cut the spacer tubes to the length that you want unless you want them to stick out as far as your bumperettes are.

Remember when cutting, measure 3 or 4 times, then before you cut, measure again.

Check the vertical spacing on your mounts. It should be 2.25" and is an easy swap. Even if it's not you have some options on either different spacing or blank QJ's. I make them OE style or custom and there are other suppliers out there. As Terry suggests you could use a piece of old plumbing or conduit, with washers if need be. That will set up correct spacer lengths before you cut any nice ones.

Nick, Don't forget to tell him about duct taping thick foam around his shins when working in the garage. :p

I wanted to do just opposite. I got SS quick jacks on my Backdraft and I wanted bumpers/overriders.

I don't know if I am gonna be mixing metric and Imperial threads.
Backdraft is South African (metric?) and Finish Line is Imperial.

I guess why the stores have 31 flavors of ice cream.

Looks nice in black. I just wanted overriders and not the quick jacks.
