Which eBay? The one in Germany? I can't find a link to 4882 in the USA. Here's one in Germany, but it doesn't state whether it's 4882 or not:

1965 Shelby Cobra Cobra CSX4000 Serie 427, ORIGINAL/Certificate of Authenticity | eBay

Yes, that´s the one. I asked the seller and he replied that car is
csx 4882.The pictures show the car in a very good condition, but the speedometer shows 39k mls? Therefore, I wanted to know if anyone knows the history of that car. Also the price is almost too good to be true.

That 45,000 euro price might be the starting bid and below any reserve. Not sure but if it is a no reserve auction it would be a very good price. Good luck!

My German is a little rusty (i.e., uh, I never studied it), but the auction ended. Starting bid is/was $81,000.

Hi RodKnock, exchange rate of the dollar is 1.27, that means starting bid
is 57k $, which is half of the other cars that are for sale. I´m unsure because the car is so clean with no signs of wear at 37k mls.
On the other hand it would obviously be a great deal to change the spf into a csx:D

My mistake. I thought I saw an exchange rate of 1.80. :o

interesting that the car is located in LA, but advertized in Germany. The seller has 0 feedback. Probably too good to be true

mickmate 10-23-2012 07:15 PM

It is too good to be true. $58000 USD especially with the lack of feedback and credit card payment method.

Thanks, I also think that my feeling is correct. Unfortunately I'll have to wait for the csx:CRY:
