How so John? Why so difficult?

double ugly 10-23-2012 01:41 PM

The more accurate, it seems, the harder it is to work on. To remove the hood the radiator has to be removed is one example.

AS yes-I've heard that. Could be worse though-you could own an original and have to worry about the same things at 10 times the cost...

Although I assume it's no harder to work on than Kirkhams and CSXs.

Same issues.

There are several solutions to the hinges and other difficult service items on originals and original styled. Pedal boxes have removable bottom plates added on many. That's the problems with sticking 10 pounds of $#it in a 5 pound bag ;-)

Some of the comp cars modified the hood hinges with sleeves and modified the lower cross member so tranny could be removed easily.
