Anyone using?????

just wondering if anyone is using Nitrous in their Cobra. Currently have my Small Block has 420HP and 403 TRQ at the crank and while I love the streetability of this engine, there are some instances where I would really like another 100-125hp.

Thoughts, feedback, the good, the bad?

I've got nitrous on my 496, just in case. I like drag racing and it works nicely there. Its definitely for short term use and I learned quickly, not to use it right off the line. I wait until I've gone into second gear before hitting the button and then hold it down all the way through the traps. I gained 4/10ths and 6 MPH. Could definitely tell the difference. Went with a ZEX plate because I like the idea of the inlet holes being all around the plate rather than just a tube transversing the plate. Don't know if it made any difference, just liked the theory. Around here, Phoenix, nitrous is fairly easy to find. Something to consider.

I will most likely be adding nitrous (and a larger fuel pump....and a clutch) next year. I haven't had a car yet that hasn't had nitrous.

This car needs a progressive controller though, so that is the route I'll be taking. I'll probably use 1st gear lockout as well. :( All I can suggest is for you not to go overboard with the nitrous setup. If you start getting too involved, you might as well reconsider and go with a blower or turbo.
