One of my hobbies is writing fiction, and last year I wrote a story called The Bank Robber that I shared with my friends. It's about an ordinary guy who fantasizes about robbing banks. ..... I just called one of my friends to assure her the Ray-Bandit is not me. I encouraged her to read to the bottom of the article where the bandit is described as being 20-25 years old. I'm 65 and I can't pass for anything younger than 30. :JEKYLHYDE

There was a time when it was the fashion to put a big decal on your windshield with the make of the car on it. My wife at the time saw such a car one day and remarked, "The goes a Firebird." That's when it hit me that a clever robber could put a "Firebird" decal on his Datsun B210 and every female witness would tell the police he was driving a Firebird.

Actually went to a local bank today, and it didn't occur to me until I got up to the clerk that I was indeed wearing my Cobra hat. Good thing I wear Maui Jim sunglasses. Even better that it was raining...
