Mick, Let me know when you have a quote. If the price works, I'll jump in and I'll pass the info around Phoenix and see who else might be interested.

Mickmate -
Been nearly a month since you first posted with this idea. Are you making any headway? Thanks for the effort!

Its good to see the interest in the Avons here. Ive been tire poor with both my cars. Goodyears, Hoosiers... Finally got the Avons on my GT40 and they are nothing short of perfect. Took the car out last Sat, 38 degrees outside and sitting for two weeks. They were round, smooth and perfect right out of the garage!
I made adhesive templates for letters and found a paint that works great if anyone is interested in AVON lettering. I can email pics of my tires. PM me.
Nick, good of ya Bud to offer this group deal! They are the best you can buy!

Nick, I may be in too. I'll be keeping an eye on the thread. It appears that when you let Billboards just sit, the sidewalls begin to break down, at least in my case. Still have the "nubs" on the tread, but starting to see cracking on the sides...

Hi guys sorry we've been through English holidays which are quite different to American vacations, time differences and all. Now in negotiations on pricing, whether they'll let us be a dealer for a better price, having to go through existing dealers, marginal savings etc. I have also stopped getting notifications from CC on replies to posts?? We should have numbers for you soon.
Michael they say the Goodyears are very prone to the elements and ozone cracking. That's supposedly just a surface issue and not structural. I do notice when they have a little age they seem to flat spot worse. I still like them and especially the deal our Goodyear dealer did.

Shipping from UK or USA? Any idea of what shipping would cost to TN?

I just look at the AVON site this model CR6ZZ does not show available, for the most part they have large rim sizes but very little or no 295-50-15, they could be the best tire in the world, but they re not use to me if they don't manufacture my size. I guess I wil stick to M/T
