Has anyone installed a Elec cut out on the Sidepipe?

Would like a louder sound on my SPF, but that will completely ensure the wife will hate the car. I have elec cut outs on my truck and my turbo Snowmobile and love how they work and was wondering if this can be done on my side pipe.
Anyone know if someone has done this?

I am looking into using electric cutouts on mine but to route it to a secondary muffler system to make it quieter. Just behind the muffler in the sidepipe then to a turbo muffler and out the back.Drive along nice and quiet but with the flip of a switch ROCK & ROLL BABY. Why would you want to make it louder with the sidepipes they are already loud enough wake every person in a 5 mile radius set off car alarms and bank alarms pretty much wake the dead, and raise the eye of every cop and not because they like the car.

I installed cut-outs on KPM Flip-top so the Cammer could breathe. They work great!.
