Need Help in buying

I am a newly registered member. I am just getting into Cobras after a lifetime love of them. I am currently searching for a used replica and have some friends who are quite knowledgeable about the various kits out there but nobody knows much about Hi-Tech Motorsports cars. There is one for sale on Cobra Country that looks fantastic, though pricey, and close by my home. Does anyone have any comments on the Hi-Tech cars???
I know they are no longer in business (I visited their facility in Arizona in 1995) and wonder how much this should affect my decision to buy.

Hi Tech cars can be well built, or can be a nightmare (if unfinished), I know of several original and secondary owners who absolutely love their cars.

This old write up pretty much sums it all up

HiTech

Thanks for the insight. I had viewed their website earlier and like I said been at their facility. Their workmanship was second to none on the turnkey cars I saw. I was more concerned with support, parts and resale. I like ERA due to their continued support of their cars and Superperformance for same reason but this HiTech I am looking at has everything I ever wanted in a replica. Just have to bite the bullet and quit talking about it and do it.

Buy mrmustang's ERA. I know it would be top notch.

I have one here in town I sold. I have been making all the parts for it so that's no worries if you need anything. They are a great car when all put together and were as close as you'll get to the real deal. I have a lot of HiTech info and pictures if you wanted to add them to your files.
