Some pics of my Cobra
5 Attachment(s)
It is winter.
It is Michigan.
It is coldddd (other than this past Saturday when it was 60F)...
Outdoor pics of my new Cobra will have to wait until Spring.
My girlfriend decided to get artsy, however, and took these snaps with the iPad I got her for Festivus. I kinda of like them...

Plan to try this Spring!
I just found out there is a road course about 15 minutes from my house. Not sure what the requirements are (safety wise) but I would sure like to run the track (1.5 miles).
This is my girlfriend posing in front of a friend's Chevelle a couple years ago. I gave it a 1970's type filter treatment for the classic look...

Nice pic - a Farrah Fawcett hair-do would look good there!

Requirements may change from track to track but some are pretty standard and also it may depend if you are going to race seriously or just go for open track days. A couple of things that are pretty standard are a 3 point roll bar at least, out here they are trying to change it to a 4 point one. Most tech inspections will check the tires, brakes and other safety items such as anti spill gas filler. If you can find out who runs the track your best bet is to contact them and ask what they require. Probably fire retardant clothing and definitely a helmet too.

I could certainly figure a few ways to stay warm in your situation waiting for spring.
