My Fuel Deteriorated - NEW fix

Guys, I think I posted before about the issues I had with my fuel cell deteriorating. 42 gal tank on mine. I pulled it and was quoted $4,500 for a new bladder only.

Then told that I may need to go through Shelby to get it. Was told to only expect 3-5 years until I have to do it again due to SCCA rules, but also due to breakdown of the internals of the bladder. I did the math, which was pretty easy, so I sent it to Mickmate to do his thing and put baffles and all the other good stuff in my "can". He gave great attention to doing things right as he always does and a great pleasure to work with.

I know I will get responses about not being approved for sanctioned races, but if/when I do that, I will do what they ask. In the meantime, I think Mickmate has a good solution. The car sits sometimes for a while, and now I don't have to think about that part.

I'm not a Facebook guy, but I know he has pics of my tank on his site if anyone is interested with the details of what he did to my tank.

Just passing it along....
