Driving/fog light photos and installation
I would like to install driving/fog lights on my Superformance Mark III and would appreciate some close up photos and instructions on various installs. I have seen a couple of photos with them on the quick jack brackets and inside the grill, but not enough detail to plan my installation. I am thinking of the replica Lucas SLR576 (5 3/4 inch) or the SLR700 (7 inch).

Grego, I'm using Cibie Super Oscars on a small bracket on the quick jacks. I chose the location because my car has fans in the grill area and I wanted a vintage look. I'll try to post some pics that are close enough to see what I did.

Thanks, Lovehamr! They look great....I like the look and think this would be the least impact on cooling. i had penciled out something like your brackets and made my first attempt at building a template, but it didn't turn out so well.
Did you have someone build the bracket? If so, I would love to have them make a couple for me. If not, I'll go back to my shop and see if I can do it without wasting too much metal. |
Made in France.
A big hello to all, with the automatic translator and French accent.
Here's what I've done myself on my FPS, with some simple parts, care and patience. The objective is a very functional, but also aesthetic, I particularly cared for the details in this regard. These two additional headlights seem to enrich the air intake area. I paid particular attention to: - Remove the headlights not to reduce the cooling radiator. - Match the curve of the lighthouse with the oil hose to the radiator. - Make all attachments that prevent vibrations. Best regards from France. Merci beaucoup, Saint Ho. I sent you a private message.
Very nice installation. What brand are your lights? |

I founded the lights in France, of coarse. The brand is HELLA. They are very flat, the diameter is 16 cm, and they are also long rang lights. I shall answer to your MP. Best regards. Saint Ho. |
