need spanner wrench and gasket
Where do I get a spanner wrench that fits the adjustment collar on the front coilovers that Unique supplies?
Is there supposed to be something that locks the collar or just the spring tension keeps it from turning? Where do I get a gasket for the alumunum block that mounts the remote oil cooler lines to the lower front side of my fe.? She is leaking and oiling the bottom of the car. |
Coilovers
You could make a wrench. Aluminum bar stock would work.
I used extra large channel lock pliers. Left some marks, but who really looks there? The tension keeps them from turning. Before you turn, look carefully to check that somebody might have added set screws. A small mark with magic marker will allow you to check easily if they turn during use. Make a gasket. Gasket material is available. The Nut. |
On the coil overs, just jacking mine up thus taking the tension off, makes them easy enough to tun by hand. On the gasket, I did like the nut did, made my own.

Gasket
Here s a trick for making the gasket.
Cut out a piece of gasketing a little bigger than you need. With a small hammer , or something you can lightly tap with, tap all around the edges and into the holes. Ball peen hammer works good. Then you have your outline and position of all the holes, carefully cut out with razor knife and scissors. The Nut |
