Ok Ill be the one to ask...

Is anyone else seeing the posts from various members who are writing in what I think is Vietnamese???

All have few recorded posts and none of them are in English, I am wondering if I have a virus or something? Just making sure everyone else sees it.

That or my partying days have finally caught up to me:eek:

I've seen them before. I believe the moderators usually make them disappear quickly.

as long as you don't see them driving cobras i think you'll be ok....

yes we all see them show up in threads, best to ignore as they are spammers or worse. when i see one i send the permalink to a mod to be dealt with. they usually are gone with-in a day.

It's the Chinese Bandits from "Hollywood Knights"....not Vietnamese.

Your partying days may have caught up to you, but not for this reason, 'cause I see them too (maybe my partying days caught up to me as well?). I think all forums have this problem to a certain degree and the moderators see them and delete the accounts.

Little known fact... Jamo and I shoot and clean 30 or 40 of these spam posts a day.

Most...you don't ever see.

Sometimes one slips thru the defenses.

If you discover one, simply use the Report a Post button in the upper right of the offending post -> http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/imag...ons/report.gif

Please, do not respond to these posts or quote or comment on them... it just makes more debris for us to clean up.

Thanks

Agreed...not an easy job..especially when it is not your full-time job! Thank you

Jamo 03-25-2013 12:59 AM

It actually is our full-time job. The computer build/repair and legal things are just past times.

We get paid $100 per spammer...double if they're in some weird alphabet.

We'd be stupid to do this for free.

WardL 03-25-2013 10:45 PM

Wow, you guys split $1,277,500 a year blocking spam? If you ever need a little vacation relief let me know, I'm in! Well, unless it is a weekend.....

rpatton3 03-29-2013 11:24 PM

Vietnamese? I thought it was Klingon

Just so you guys are getting paid the big bucks.
