DV's Wendy - updated and a link
For those that remember there is a full and dedicated facebook page about Wendy, my Daughter. Randy her brother decided to do this for his sister in order that everyone should know about her treatment, what has happened over the years since she helped with the "Fling" and what is happening now.

There are now two ways to donate for my daughter. The state of South Carolina (where the original donation site is set up has given a license to the "Helping Wendy" foundation so that all donations are now legally "Tax Deductible!)
One way to donate is through PayPal of course and the other is through the "Pay if forward" web site. On her FaceBook page, Helping Wendy, you can follow the donations to her goal. This is "give it forward" page for those that wish to help, donate, comments, what ever. It was started for those that do not use PayPal. I really know nothing about PayPal but I do know that some people are leery of it! To keep everyone updated; as of today the Burzinsky clinic had over 600 pages of Wendy's conditions, tests, MRI's etc. By this afternoon they had accepted her for treatment at their Houston CLinic.
Brother Randy will be leaving his home in S. Carolina & driving to Houston. Sunday/Monday I am driving to Columbus to meet with Wendy and her husband John. Wendy and I will fly into Houston and finally head for the clinic! (John can't make this trip because of his back injury from years ago. (While mowing for the State of Ohio his tractor flipped over pinning him underneath for over 24 hours before a lady finally noticed him in a depression. John has lived with years of pain with two steel pins in his back for a spine.) Anyway, thank you all once again for your well wishes and your Prayers. A couple of days early but time is of the essence! Hopefully the start of the end, and the beginning of a new start. The Fundraiser for Wendy's treatment is progressing slowly but definitely moving forward! Now we will see how Wendy responds to this not so new, new treatment. More in a few days! DV |

Wendy had her first meeting at the Burzynski Clinic today and things went really well. We received a lot of information and possible treatment options. We have an appointment with another clinic here in Houston on Friday. Once that consultation has happened, Wendy and John will make a decision as to the correct course of action. Thank all of you again for your support and well wishes. It is greatly appreciated and definitely helps lift spirits. As soon as I know something new, I will be in touch.
