Can't be any that are easier than Florida. If it is a new car, never previously registered, just need to bring the manufacturer Certificate of Origin along with bill of sale, pay your taxes, and get a tag. As kit cars / replicas are titled as the year they replicate .. you can get an antique tag to boot.

Washington state titles them as the year they replicate. They need to be inspected but only to see that it is in fact what you say it is. Quick and easy.

Then Florida is your answer, the real question is, why did you ask?

n.y. state is telling me that i need a different vin no. than i now have. in order to make this happen the car needs to go through an inspection. to pass this inspection the car must be equipped with defrosters, back-up lights, 4-way flashers etc etc. i am trying to find another way to register the car without going through all this bull s*#t. any help is appreciated.

Its a piece of cake. I have homes in both NY and Florida. Took my PA title, the FL DMV form(forgot #) filled out all info, had a police officer verify vin(or you can get a Dealer to verify as well on letterhead), sent check for taxes and registration, proof of insurance and mailed it to FL. Received my antique plate in less than a week. Does not get any easier than this.

I purchased the car from a guy in PA that had it registered there. Took the PA title, the Vin on that title and sent to the State of FL. Got plates in a week and the title the following week.
