LED lights and back feed.

Well I took out my #1157 filament bulbs and installed #1157 LED lights all round (front turn/park and rear turn/stop/park). I also installed the correct LED turn signal flasher.

Well my lighting system went bonkers.

All lites flashed with turn signal on and all lite went on with brake and or park on.

Started trouble shooting and the LED bulbs I have are backfeeding into the system. In other words, put on the right turn signal and all the other park lights flash with it. Put on the left and the same thing happens.

Put the right turn signal on and disconnected the park lite wire and the backfeed stopped. Put a circuit probe to the park lite socket and it was hot and the probe flashed along with the turn signal.

What gives??????

Back to filament bulbs or diodes on all the LED connections?

Cheers
Greg
