BDR 4 Sale on EBAY - Opinions wanted

Curious as to what you think about this BDR cobra for sale.

1) Color combo? (the wheels are a bit much)
2) What is it worth?

Thanks

I saw that this morning. WOW... loud colors!!

You can ask 100 people and get 100 opinions on something like that. If it stands out to you-- go for it! You only live once!

It is worth the money a buyer will pay - no more, no less.

Look at the first picture from the engine room - do you see all the space? it is a very small block...

Color... as stated - it is very special and will not be for everybody = not many potential customers... but then again - only ONE is needed ;)

Look at what else is for sale (cobra country, here and...) - deduct a repaint and a little for the small engine... that is likely the resale value.

Thanks for the feedback. I am going to pass.

Not our car, but some thoughts...

First it depends on price. But that color in person is amazing. Those stripes are vinyl so peel them off. Recoating wheels all black would clean it up. That 342R engine is lots of fun in a BDR... Sometimes I like knowing I can use it all without going spinning.

We didn't build it, or maintain it. So budget for a go through.

25k for the guy who dislikes the color. 45k for the guy that loves the color

Since a respray is under 10k you've got a lot of emotional suffering in there

Painting those wheels black would definitely help.

I love the car and the color...

Ditto. Love the color. Also love the lack of chrome. Saw a different blacked one a few years ago and loved that one. Just different looking. Don't get me wrong, I like chrome...have a lot of it on my car.

I like the idea of vinyl stripes. Remove them when you get sick of them or just want a change.

My yellow cobra has really dark blue stripes. They are so dark that most people don't even realize they are blue. I'd like to get those black vinyl stripes on my car just to see if I can tell the difference. I bought my car used so I didn't get to pick the color combo (was close enough to what I was after though).

If your close enough to look at in in person, it might be worth a look. The online pictures made my BDR look terrible. Black with Yellow stripes and gumballs. Went to look with the idea I would paint it. Loved it in person and still have it today.

Any color you choose you will not blend into any crowd.

My opinion and 5 bucks will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks but don't forget the 5 bucks... beauty is always in the eye of the beholder .... $45k

I like it! If it were me I'd lose the stripes and maybe paint the wheels, but it's a nice car.

Hmm, maybe if it had matching blue heat shields for the black side pipes that would fix it right up.

Or maybe NOT... :JEKYLHYDE

Not a big fan of the "look", but there's a butt for every seat.

For such a small engine, it seems to be set back into the firewall alot.

Hate the wheel color "combo", but other than that, looks like it's well taken care of.

So who built the car? That would be my concern.

I'm assuming that the Kirkham, especially with a big block, has front bias? Or is it pretty neutral?
