Hi always wanted to own a cobra and at 53 years old I am starting to find the time to set up shop and look for the proper kit. Probably a rolling chassis from a reputable supplier, my skill level is medium to low having completed a certificate degree in automotive repair along with two welding classes 30 years ago, although I never worked in the repair field I have always managed to fix my own cars. Leaning toward a factory 5 because of the ability to use a Mustang donor car.

Thanks Robb

If your mind is set on building; then FFR is a good kit to build. You will have some nice choices From FFR. Dave smith told me last month that FFR will be offering the New Slabside & FIA AC Cobra versions next June 2014 as well as the present MKIV. so you'll have a complete range of roadsters to choose from. But you might also think about buying an AC from the "Club Cobra" for sale section. You will be driving a lot faster & can make as many mods as you wish once you find/buy what you like. It's just another option to think on. Alot really depends on your budgit!

Welcome to the ADDICTION  There is NO CURE! :JEKYLHYDE

Welcome to the forum. Where are you located? Find the local Cobra Club and join them. You don't have to have a Cobra to join, just love the cars. You can see and talk to the guys about the many options. A lot of which depends on how you plan to use the car, cruising, track, etc.
