I sold 1017 new. What do you want o know? |
I bought it a few month ago and don't know much about it. It has has one I.D, tag on frame and one in normal spot is that normal? Is it a early production if so how early, Im been told the 1017 means nothing in production order.

1017 should be black with tan interior if I recall correctly. Built with a 302 HO that was installed at Roush and was the first "official" MK IV imported under the Ford endorsed program.
Correct, chassis number does not indicate build sequence but is broadly close to order. |

IP has been modified....no heater controls. Series 1 had slide lever controls, series 2 had round Mercedes sourced controls.

Info would all be in the SAAC registry, correct?
OP, neat car, wish I had it. Your search starts here with Mark IV and should include the registry as well. Welcome to the Cobra madness man! AK 1017 Interesting....... http://item.ebay.com/111202940528 http://motorcycles.smartcarguide.com/listing/44452318/ |
