Ford 9" u-joint u-bolt torque
Can anyone tell me:
What is the correct torque for the u-joint u-bolts on a Ford 9" ? My u-bolts weren't as tight as I thought they should be. Cheers Greg |
Smaller cup size is 17 and larger cup is 25.

Three pops of the elbow and a drop of Locktite always works for me. Never thought the amount of torque on such things was important enough to haul out the big wrench. Just use an 8" box wrench and made them "tight".
