Kill Switch

Hi Guys, I saw on a TV car show. a kill switch that was control with on a solenoid . maybe a relay too . It looks like all you have to do is run a small gauge wires to a switch. Can't remember where i saw it .

This is a simple mechanical disconnect switch. There are no solenoid or relays involved. Quite a few people have them. I am the third owner of my Cobra. It has one very similar to the link you provided.

I would caution you to know what the current capacity rating is on the switch, before installing it. A battery can put out 1000 amps, and I would say a starter is going to pull north of 500 amp. An undersized switch could limit the current, and could get quit hot if it did.
