Morris: I didn't mean to "judge" your expertise. You'll notice I put a ? after my statement "that can't be right ! ? " I was going by the widely accepted premise that there is a high pressure area in front of the wind shield of (most, all, many?) cars, and yours does have a w/s, and your hood scoop IS reversed ! Did not mean to imply that you didn't know what you were doing, as I know you know what you're doing. I had followed your build when you were posting here, and as a fellow Kirkham owner I was (and still am ) in awe of what you have done with your car!

How did those come about ? Custom built, or pirated from some other car/boat/aircraft ?

Migge: thanks for the links, very informative. I remember reading a thread ( think it was on cobra register re: Morris and Tom Kirkham doing air flow testing, where They determined that the side vents on cobras didn't flow any air at all !
