$$$250,000 For a REPLICA!
At the Mecum Auction from Montrey, today, a REPLICA Ferrari did not sell for a bid of $250,000, plus commission! Certainly was a sweet car, but wow! 1959 Ferrari 196 Dino S 2.4L V6 5spd tube chasis aluminum body.

The one I was watching was a Modena used in the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Modena built replica's of the 250 Ferrari California. SWB if I'm not mistaken. I think the price is because of it's use in the movie. Larry |
