I'm not a traditionalist who dislikes anything but the customary engines, and it appears quite fast and well done, BUT I prefer the raw sound of a big V8 with mostly open side pipes. One of my favorite things about my car is the way it sounds.

I think that the fact he doesn't wear a helmet says it all.:)

I bet with a good set of pipes that V 12 would sound good. A different type of growl.

Dax of England has been building V12's since the middle 80's. Dax uses the Jag V12, with a 5 speed Tremec. They also use a Ford 9 inch or currie as the carrier. Damn fast!

Tough not to like. I think I'd build a 917 if I had that engine. Just not a Cobra without a nasty, smelly old V8

Here's a much more controversial V12 (Viper engine) .....]

I think the Viper engine is a V10. Forum member Double Venom specializes in this combo.

Love anything done to a Cobra to make them distinctive. When first thinking about my build wanted a 427 Cammer, another beautiful addition to a Cobra especially with the hood open.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder .... that is one ugly car in my opinion.
I know pimps that wouldn't be caught dead in it... a lot of them. :)
