Ramp Suggestions
I'm looking for ramp suggestions that'll handle my SPF's 14" wide tires and low height. Prefer a set that one person can successfully use without umpteen trips in and out of the cockpit checking alignment and that I don't have to worry about driving up and over - essentially a well designed set of ramps. Hoping to keep this under $100. Possible? Thank you, all.

Your price range kind of limits it unless you build them yourself. One of the guys on our site did that and they work really well for his Cobra and Corvette. I have a low ceiling so I got the Kwik Ramps and really like them. I just put a line of aluminum tape along the drivers side ramp to line my back wheel up with when I am backing on and a cross piece at the place I want to stop and have never had a problem. But they cost a lot more than $100 dollars. I will go to our site and see if I can locate the thread where he built his and he has pictures and step by step instructions on them, plus you can change the height when you build them. The Kwik Ramps that I have are 20 1/2" high when jacked up and then the height of the car on top of that makes it easy to sit up in most places.
EDIT: OK, I found the thread where he gives the instructions and pictures of the way he built his ramps. Also Dean, who posts in the thread built a set a little different but you can look at them if you want and maybe get some ideas.

A lot more than $100 but.... I've got a set of Race Ramps. They're 14" wide 5' long in two sections and lift the car 10". They are fantastic!!

Well, no forum member has recommended anything in my price range so I'm left with the proverbial two choices. I suppose that I should make some cardboard templates and check the clearance but actual experience with these ramps is more useful. These work (front and rear) with your Cobra? Thanks.

Has anyone tried the Flatstoppers from Race Ramps? They are suppose to stop tires from flat spotting when parked, they look interesting...

I use a set of these and really like them, mine sits a little over 3.5" off the ground at the front chassis point. Use them to drive onto the lift and use them for loading onto the trailer if i ever get around to it.

Pretty sure you wouldn't have any clearance issues with any car on the Race ramps. Only fifteen degrees ramp from memory, smooth as. No drama forward or reverse. Well worth a look, I'm very happy with mine. I dont have flatstoppers.

I've got a kwiklift I'm trying to unload ($300) for anyone in Phx area.
It's dissassembled and in storage.

I use them in the winter when parked on the cold cement floor for a week or two. Seem to work well. I raised the car and measured the flat spot before and after using the ramp. Big difference. It always took me about five miles of driving to round out the tires. After using the ramps, no flat spots noticeable.

I keep a set of the Race Ramps for front and rear in the trailer in case I need to get under the car when out and about. Very lightweight and durable and they give you enough room to get everywhere under the car.

Like so many things having to do with the new Cobra, out went my $100 limit. I just ordered the 67", two-piece Race Ramps too. Very hard to swallow the asking price but by all accounts, they are worth every penny.
