Do you have to adjust the carb, or FI when you add a S/C?

I have seen more than a dozen supercharged 5.0 and 4.6 engines at the London cobra show. I think they were a fuel injected engines.
If you were to try this with a carb, I do not think there would be room to set a crab on top, so it would have to be piped off to the side.
Around 1994 Ford changed the EFI programming to base fuel ratio and timing off of the engine load calculations. Prior to that the programming switched to a WOT table based on throttle position. The earlier ECU is much easier to tune. Of course you will need bigger injectors and mass flow sensor. May need a larger fuel pump too. Then you need to tune it. When you start packing the air into the engine you need to back off on the timing. If you push a lot of pressure you will need an inter-cooler.

Thank you all for the help. My car does not have a carburetor it is fuel injected. I was looking at the kenne bell TS series. I'm not sure if the throttle both will fit under the hood... Any suggestions???
