Csx2575

Hello, That is a very nice 289 Cobra. I am not familiar with the story of this car. Can you explain how the body from CSX2575 is mounted on a different car? What body is currently on CSX2575?

thanks, Karl

The Allied slabside body on my car was on CSX-2575 since late 1966/67 according to the previous owner that bought CSX-2575 from a junkyard
north of Pittsburgh around 1966/67 and installed the Allied slabside body.

The FIA Alum body on 2575 now was built by some guy in Florida in the
mid 90s.

That first picture drives me nuts, I spotted that when it was in ally. It looks like the back end is sagging way down. Combine that with those flares and I think they've lost the look completely.

What was the owner thinking putting that body on an original 289 slab-side?
