Guilty for not reading all the post, 99%, but has he ever found the real culprit yet?
Sorry if it's in the thread and i missed it. DV |
Fuel filter in backwards >? -- or Unvented tank as others have stated.

one of our buddies burn up a coil, we replaced it and soon a MSD bad when bad, then a magnetic pick up, second magnetic pick up before we had the alternator checked. Had it rebuild and solved all the problems.
Dwight oil filled coil laying on their side will fail. Air pocket inside will allow damage to the wire coil. Some will total fail while others will work after they cool for a short period. |
Was the Alternator putting out too much voltage? I just replaced my MSD pickup, coil, and box.I would hate to have it all go bad again because of the Alternator.

I think it was over charging. That was 2 or 3 years ago and I'm old. Nuff said:)

Marc Wulf, you can check with a volt meter at the battery. Take a reading at the battery and then crank the car and check again. You should get a 13 to 14 volt reading with the motor running.
